The Ice Path

The Ice Path is a chilling set of caverns that is the only way to get to Blackthorn City from Mahogany by foot. A large number of ice types inhabit this area, and you’d best be careful not to slip on the ice.

Blackthorn City

Blackthorn City sits in the summits of the Johto mountain range, with a small natural lake supplying water. Across the lake lies the reclusive Dragon’s Den. Here you can visit as well as the Pokémon Center, Pokémart, and the Pokémon Gym.

Route 45

Route 45 is a long and winding mountain path that leads downhill from the summits of Blackthorn, filled with mountain-faring Pokémon and trainers alike. Along the way also appears to be a back entrance to the Dark Cave as well. To the south is Route 46, which leads to the lowlands.
