Name: Serra Shuss
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Hometown: Canalave City, Sinnoh
Personality: Spending the whole of her life fending for herself, Serra has become a hardened girl, with a strong personality and doesn't take anything less than the truth from anyone. She is the first to pick a fight, the first to jump to conclusions and the first to say almost anything when it comes to food. She is a food fanatic and is of course the best cook in the whole world! If anything, the easiest way to describe Serra is to call her a tom boy - calling her a lady can lead to unimaginable pain.

Appearance: Serra is about 5'9" and has a long face which is framed by brown shoulder-length curls. She maintains her hair at this length so that she is regarded as feminine, since if it were any shorter, she'd look like a boy and if it were any longer, it'd just be a hassle to deal with. She also does this to balance out her almost non-existent chest. She normally wears a tank top of varying colours, but prefers pink, dark jeans, and white sneakers. Her eyes are dazzling and have a mystical quality to them. She is otherwise your average girl next door and has little regard for her body, with cuts and bruises showing where she has fallen during her day to day activities.

Background: Serra was the sole survivor of an incident in her childhood. No-one in her hometown has ever told her what happened, and she's grown up and moved on since then. In order to keep herself active, she spends almost every day running. She is also an excellent rock-climber and been on many solo journeys, making it her mission to climb up every mountain in the world (she has conquered Mt. Coronet three times and feels she needs to go other places to extend her acheivements). She is revered in her hometown for the work she does to keep the young children happy and fit, with her part-time job as the local school PE teacher.

Misc. Information: Her eyes are two different colours and she has been told this is due to the incident in her childhood, and no-one has yet to refute this claim. Her right eye is blue and her left is an iridescent, eerie green. She also has a tatoo of the Trinity on her right hand.

Name:Xerxes Grimmog Axciel
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Hometown: Blackthorn City, Johto

Personality: Xerxes, is an extremely cynical boy, and has a dark sense of humor. He is extremely attentive to the outside world, noticing minute differences on a second’s notice. Very little passes by his scrutinizing eyes, as he has learned to take every detail into account. He relishes the few moments of peace that come, and takes comfort in silence. He is extremely cautious of those he does not trust, and his trust is difficult to earn. His strength lies in his intellectual abilities. With his cold, calculating personality came the ability to see clearly in difficult situations, and allows for him to concoct complex strategies to take down whatever stands in his way. Xerxes has few friends, and almost never opens up about his thoughts and emotions. He is rather quiet, compared to other people his age, and is extremely introverted. To him, all things that threaten to harm him or the ones he trusts must be eliminated, even at the cost of his own life. While not cold to outsiders, he isn't exactly the most friendly person you'll ever meet.

Appearance: The first thing most people notice about Xerxes is his white hair, which often covers one of his deep crimson eyes. A black hat often adorns his head, although it is sometimes removed for practicality. He also wears a long, black trench coat with dark silver lining and buttons. He wears a collared shirt, which is crimson in color, along with a long, clack scarf around his neck. His pants are black in color, and he wears a belt similar to his scarf to hold PokéBalls.

Background: Xerxes was born in Blackthorn City, but was abandoned in the famous Dragon's Den by his parents. He knew no family as a child, but was raised by a clan of Dratini and Dragonair as a child. He had no education, and knew only his instinct to survive. So to get what he needed, at night, he would go into the city under the cloak of shadow to steal food from the local store. One day, however, he was found by a wanderer, and with no real options for life, went along with him. It was this man who taught Xerxes as a child. Although he never revealed his name, it was not important to him, as he had saved Xerxes from certain death.

Through this man, Xerxes grew up to become a fine young man, although a bit on the cold side. After traveling to Johto along with him, they parted. Neither of them knew if they would ever meet again, but one thing was for certain. This was the start of a brand new adventure.

Name: DM Woods
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Hometown: Saffron City

Personality: DM is simply a quiet guy, doesn't like to be the main person in crowds and such, but other than being sort of a loner, there isn't really much to say about him. Meanwhile he is not a rude person,as while he likes to be alone, that does not mean that he doesn't help people when asked. He also doesn't like to see people being mistreated and hurt, but other than that he's pretty well off. Unfortunately his demeanor changes in battle, as rather from being a kind soul, he does not take prisoners, and while this may be an aftereffect from his childhood, it's clear that between his normal personality, and his battling personality, that the battling mode he gets into is simply there to release the stress from his past.

Appearance: DM is simply clad, wears cargo pants and a blue T-shirt, with a large backpack on his back, able to carry all of the supplies he may find on his journey. Meanwhile, his belt is studded with six pokeball slots, which at the moment are empty. Meanwhile, DM's hair is black, cut in a military styled buzz, and he wears glasses, which are visible, but not massively large. As his family immigrated from a far land, he's very dark skinned as well.

Background: DM, being an immigrant from a far land didn't fit in well at first. He quickly learned the language and customs of Kanto, but either way he had to deal with endless teasing, made even worse by his attempts and wishes to become a Psychic gym leader someday. Regardless, he eventually grew old enough to overcome his issues, but it seems that rather than become violent or completely silent, he dealt with the teasing and stress from his childhood in his battles. Never in the history of Saffron's upper trainer school had the teachers seen such violence in battle. Eventually, though it was disputed by all, one of DM's classmates' parents, horrified at the treatment that DM's family's Pokémon had done to their prized pet in the graduation exam, supposedly paid for all expenses to remove him from Kanto. And thus, from this "gift", he decided to check out Sinnoh, hoping that he finds something to help him with his stress... and also to begin his goal on becoming a Psychic gym leader, noting that one Elite 4 member in Sinnoh was a Psychic type user, and hoped to learn more from him, seeing as Johto was not available for him to travel to...

Name: Kanade
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Hometown: Lavaridge Town, Hoenn

Personality: One can’t really tell what is one her mind, due to her lack of showing any visible emotion. This is her weakest and strongest trait. (Strong trait in Pokémon battles, weak trait for her social life). Kanade is also one of few words, choosing to only speak when spoken to. Although she is awkwardly shy around people, she really just wants to make friends. Because of this, Kanade is usually a lot more caring and affectionate around Pokémon than people.

Appearance: It is very rare for Kanade to have her long-and-choppy-turquoise-colored hair down; most of the time it is tied into a high and messy ponytail. She has no idea what to do about her bangs so they remain unruly, much to her chagrin. Kanade can’t really see without her glasses, but she never likes to wear them so she keeps them in a glasses case her pocket. Her eye color is purple. Kanade is usually seen wearing her favorite red jacket (and a scarlet T-shirt underneath), and red jogging pants with sneakers. Kanade likes to dress for the weather and comfortable clothes so it seems like she has no taste or interest in today's women’s fashion.

Background: Kanade often visits the gym to watch Flannery take on challengers. She does have a bit of an inferiority complex with the gym leader since they are around the same age, and while Flannery is already a gym leader, Kanade spends her time helping out her grandparents at the hot spring. After seeing how far behind she was from Flannery, Kanade confronted her grandparents about her wish to travel the Pokémon world and to become strong. They were surprised at first because they never knew what was going on in her head, but were pleased at the same time because they finally were able to let Kanade go grow on her own. She bid farewell to her grandparents shortly after that and began on her journey.

Kronis
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Hometown: Olivine City, Johto

Personality: Will is a real bubbly and joyful kind of kid. Some
people might find this annoying, but mostly people will like him. Will
sometimes pretends to be an airhead, but he is really a lot smarter than that
inside. He just uses that persona to throw people off. Will also loves to
dance, and feels that those who don’t when they’re at a dance lack souls. Will
also has a slight fear of blood. He can shrug off almost any blow, but if it
draws blood his confidence drains. Even little cuts need band-aids for Will. Will
is a huge klutz, and constantly apologizes. His stream of “I’m sorry”s can get
pretty annoying. Will is, surprisingly, a great cook.

Appearance: Will usually will wear a bright green t-shirt with a
pair of cartoonish eyes on the front. He also wears white cargo shorts that
have blue and green stripes running through them. His sneakers and laces are
bright white. Will’s arms and lower legs are slightly tanned, and his face is
noticeably Asian. Will is secretly chubby, but only a bit. It is only
noticeable if he isn’t wearing a shirt. As mentioned above, he will usually
have one or two band-aids on him.

Background: Will had a pretty normal life. He loved the city, had
plenty of friends, and could walk from his house to the beach. Whenever he
changed schools, he would start out acting like an oblivious fool. This way he
made sure that those he befriended would really like him. Before he had
problems of kids pretending to be his friend just so they could get his help on
tests. Most kids didn’t realize that the class airhead did the best
academic-wise. The only thing Will missed were Pokémon. He was the only kid
without them. Will’s parents weren’t confident in his ability to raise a
Pokémon until now.

Name: Yougirasu (or Yougi for short)
Age: 20, nearly 21.
Gender: Male
Hometown: Mossdeep City (Ftw!)

Personality: A calm and mindful person when around people, a one man wrecking ball when he's not (and stressed), Yougi offers a taste of both worlds to his faithful Pokémon. He enjoys growing Berry bushes, although he prefers to let pokemon/employee's do most of the hard work after his farm got off the ground, and has a fascination with anything berry-like. He has quite the imagination and would do anything not to lose it, he finds it to be the one passionate thing that separates him from everyone else. He's quite possessive and won't give away anything unless there's something good in it for him, which occasionally makes him seem like a bit of a miser. He's naturally quiet as he's often in a world of his own, but it makes things quite peaceful for those who are around him.

Appearance: Often found wearing jeans and trainers that resemble walking boots, Yougi cuts quite a plain figure. He has a variety of shirts and t-shirts (with shirts being preferred, followed by polo T-shirts) that he finds comfortable. If his needs are not met by his simple outfit, he has a simple summer jacket to protect him from the winds and a thicker coat with deep pockets for the colder, wetter environments. He sports mid-length short hair, with the back just touching his collar, that's a sandy brown in colour and wears a simple pair of glasses with it. Although he can be seen without his glasses by wearing contacts, with the small fortune he earnt, he bought a large variety of glasses so he could be comfortable in any situation. He has a small variety of scars across his hands and forearms, due to burns that occurred while helping out in kitchens.

Background: Hailing from the city or Mossdeep, you'd expect a certain toleration when it comes to water. But Yougi always resisted the stereotypes that were placed around him. His big break came in a region-wide berry shortage. Yougi had started work on a small farm in the backwaters of Mossdeep, where the Shoal Cave entrance could just be seen, using a new irrigation technique and the natural pure waters around the island. The few seeds he had flourished in the mulch enriched sand, causing his farm to roar into life in a very short period. With massive sales figures and profits that he couldn't of imagined, Yougirasu set out to grow as many different types of berries as he could. But his land quickly ran out. Pouring his hard earned money back into the land, Yougi bought a huge estate within the area that his small farm had started from and he avidly pursued a large enough farm to produce every kind of berry. Building a large house at the top of his land, Yougi hired a number of employee's with Pokémon to tend his lands while he set off in search for rare berries that he had not yet obtained. A number of years, and a number of specialised greenhouses, later, Yougi had achieved his goal and was now comfortably producing every sort of berry needed by trainers and folk alike. But his heart yearned for something more, a Pokémon to call his own, who he could share his berries with. With that, he set off to visit some of the Pokémon labs in nearby regions to find his perfect partner.

Misc. Information:
~ He does know how to cook, but often finds some of the smells in kitchens nauseating.
~ He has a basic knowledge of swimming and other such water based activities, but he can't stand being in water. He finds getting his clothes wet to be the worst possible thing and will pursue anyone or anything that does so until it's unimaginably apologetic.

~ He enjoys rock type Pokémon and psychic type Pokémon the best and would quite like to have a revived fossil on his team.

Personality:Hot tempered and fiery, you should definately not get on the wrong side of Rad. When he's not flared up, he's rather kind and prone to making bad jokes(usually poking fun at himself). If he doesn't like someone, he shows it openly. He is never ever cruel to a Pokémon, though. When he IS flared up, watch out, you're either going to get yelled at or a broken nose, depending on his temper. When he's stressed, he likes to sit down and collect himself.

Appearance: Wearing a Linkin Park black t-shirt and dark blue pants, Rad is your average person. He prefers sandals to boots, and has a wristband. With black hair and a nicely tanned body, it's rather obvious he's Indian. He also wears glasses, though it's not like he's Velma without them.

Background:He's nothing special.Raised in a middle classed family, he was content to have a job and work. Then, he was touched when he saw how really happy a boy was after getting his lost Pokémon back. He decided, then and there, to get his ass to Professor Birch.

Name: Dave Wells
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Hometown: Pastoria City, Sinnoh

Personality: Dave's a fairly quiet guy, though he opens up to those who know him. He was originally apathetic toward Pokémon, not really seeing the point in training them, though he did enjoy fishing up Water-types. He's shed this lazy attitude as of late, though he does still like his sleep and food, kinda like a Snorlax. He does have a passion for Water-types above all others, especially piscine Pokémon.

Appearance: Dave's about 6 foot 2 inches, with longish dark brown hair (not quite shoulder-length). He always wears glasses, as he's not great at seeing without them. He also usually wears T-shirts, as well as jeans and trainers, though he'll swap to shorts and sandals when the weather's sunny. He almost always wears blue.

Background: Born and raised in Pastoria, Dave loves wetlands, having spent a lot of time out in the Great Marsh, and as a result has great love for Water-type Pokémon, though he likes various others too. He's also a fan of Crasher Wake, the resident Gym Leader, his father and Wake being good friends, and Wake let Dave play with his Pokémon as a kid.

Name: Richard Naphir
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Hometown: Pewter City, Kanto

Personality: Richard is generally quite a quiet person, keeping his thoughts to himself when he's in a group unless addressed, at which point he'll happily natter on for hours. He tends to be quite nervous when meeting new people, but it doesn't really show until he speaks, at which point he'll occasionally muddle up words. Although he may not show it (and many are surprised to find), he has an extremely high competitive side, and will drive his Pokémon to the extremes in order to win, maybe even cruelly if necessary. He believes in strict training regimes, but when not training will show compassion to his Pokémon, and intends to learn the exact limits of his Pokémon so as he doesn't go over them and cause issues. He loves fossils, and is inspired by Brock's gym, as well as the matches shown on TV involving Roark and Byron, and especially Steven. He loves food, and will eat when he's bored, but due to his metabolism, he doesn't get any heavier.

Appearance: Richard is just below average height for his age, with a quite frail physique and limited muscles. Deep, brown, messy hair covers goes down to the top of his neck, as well as coming down in a fringe, but not quite at the height of his deep, brown eyes. He has a passion for chequered and lined shirts, taking three or four with him, but his main attire is as follows; A light blue and dark blue chequered shirt, a pair of deep blue tracksuit bottoms, a light blue under shirt, a brown rucksack and a pair of well worn brown trainers. He intends to keep PokéBalls in his pocket, and will keep any vital supplies in his rucksack.

Background: Richard was born in a house near to the Pewter Museum, and was fascinated by the idea of fossil Pokémon from an early age, heading into the museum on a daily basis in order to examine as much as he could. Watching the Gym Leader Brock battle was something he always enjoyed, as well as exploring of the nearby caves. Richard never actually travelled any further south than the Viridian Forest, and never any further east than Mount Moon. As such, his knowledge of the world is rather limited compared to his sparse knowledge of fossils. His father is the manager of the museum, as well as a renowned fossil finder, but he refuses to give any to his young song, arrogantly saying that they're better left unrestored (he's very anti-Cinibar). Richard's parents decided it was around time he went and saw the world, so urged him into taking a journey, which he eventually accepted, heading down to Pallet Town to start himself off.

Hometown: Snowpoint City, Sinnoh

Personality: Alexander is modest and quiet, and had always thought that risks shouldn't be taken. Despite
the the fact that as a child he tried hard to gain confidence and courage, he was often paranoid (to a point) and would just stay indoors all day. Now that he discovered how much he had missed out on because of his fears, he has promised himself to try to be as courageous as he can. Gradually, he's become a much braver person.

Appearance: Alexander is 5'10", with pale ivory skin and a slim physique. His jet black hair is razor cut surrounding his face, covering his eyebrows and ears. Underneath a thick jacket and sweatshirt, he wears a shirt length black trench coat (underneath is a cyan t-shirt) with some simple black jeans. His eyes are a deep blue, above a nose that obnoxiously points up and a small jaw.

Background: Being an only child in Snowpoint City, Alexander was always lonely. His father moved away to Oreburgh to support the family, and his mother would often have to take shifts at the Pokémart to make sure there was enough food on the table. As he started getting older, he would often watch challengers in the gym, which sparked his interest in Pokémon training. As his mother noticed how he had big dreams, she started working full-time at the Pokémart. For his 15th birthday, she gave him a ferry ticket to Johto.
