Idea: Poll for the three most wanted regions to put ease on updators, and add more as time goes on.

I'm really wanting Unova, personally.

I like the sound of Unova as well, but I'd quite like to stick to my Kanto roots. Your idea sounds good to me. Depending on the results we may even be able to shrink the region size to 2 for now. Of course, we may run into problems with newer players if they wish for other regions. For the time now though we've got a small little community, so we can just go with that.

If we're starting from scratch we're going to need a new board, any ideas anyone?

Hmm, I suppose we could use the same type of site as this. I've attempted to make forums in the past and been a little unimpressed with how everything is run. I like this forums set-up quite a bit. The chat box and portal and such. So I looked up dieuxdufoot. I'm still not entirely sure what's going down so I'll hold off until we hear from some of the others.

Also, want to note that I expected Gary to say no, but I am willing to help out if needed. But at the same time, one of Revo's strengths is also its weakness. i.e...

we should focus on 1 region, and only 1 to start with. and expand to more regions when demand grows enough for it. Revo's awesome for having so much to be available, but all of the other places is overwhelming for both updators and updatees, especially if there's a time such as in Revo when 1 person updates 75% of the areas.

Hmm, very true. I agree and we could certainly use help. We need to completely reconstruct this place, we'll need updaters, event ideas, someone to co-ordinate them, someone to make the regions, etc. Of course I'm not just going to give everyone else the work. Copy and I will do our share, whether I'm an admin or not I'm still willing to help with anything and everything. I've quite a bit of time on my hands, so.

That's unfortunate =o. I'd offer to make the new forum myself but to be honest I'm terrible at that sort of stuff ^_^; True I've tried in the past, but yeah.

As for a name. Hmm... I'm having a hard time thinking of something tbh. Copy's Revolution? It's simple, new and fits. =o Perhaps we can just called it Revo for now and then once the site is up and going we can open a poll for a new name.
